Meet the Team
Sarah Stevens
Specialties: Elementary Education all subject, Mathematics
Sarah began Access Learning in 2022 to address the many learning needs that existed in post-covid education to help all students reach their full potential. Sarah spent 7 years in the classroom split between Washington D.C. and Alexandria, teaching 2-5th grades. Sarah has a Masters in Mathematics Education and has a passion for helping all students learn the love of math!
When Sarah is not tutoring, she loves to travel! Sarah has been to 48 of the 50 states and to 23 countries!
Isabelle F.
Specialties: Elementary education, all subjects & Spanish
Isabelle joined Access Learning in 2023 and loves having the opportunity to help students grow their brains and feel confident! Previously, Isabelle taught 1st and 3rd grade for three years in DC. Isabelle is currently a full-time student at Johns Hopkins University, working to earn her M.S. in Education Policy, and she holds a B.A. from The George Washington University. She plans to return to the classroom upon completion of her degree.
Outside of tutoring, Isabelle loves to stay active! She keeps busy with Pilates, dance classes, and biking.
Carly H.
Specialties: Elementary Special Education, Literacy and Phonics
Carly has a Bachelor's Degree in English as well as a Master’s Degree in Special Education K-12 from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg. Carly taught in Arlington County Public Schools for one year in a self contained autism classroom, and enjoys helping students access language and literacy through play. Carly is passionate about analyzing students’ needs and abilities and creating accommodations so a student can reach their highest potential.
When not teaching, Carly loves reading scary stories, running, and playing with their dog Spencer.
Frank Kim
Specialties: Middle School and High School Mathematics
Frank joined Access Learning in 2024 to help students grow in mathematics. He previously worked as a high school math teacher for eight years. He has taught classes from Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus BC.
Frank also loves watching and playing sports. He was a coach of many sports.
